Cahn Auktionen AG was founded in 2006 by Jean-David Cahn.

The company specialises in auctions of ancient art and of archaeological literature and thus continues a long family tradition. The Cahn family has been engaged in the antiquities trade for almost 150 years, and Herbert A. Cahn, Jean-David Cahn’s father, was the principal driving force behind the auctions held by Münzen und Medaillen AG and H.A.C. Kunst der Antike which achieved international acclaim.

Cahn Auktionen AG places prime importance on the quality and provenance of the pieces offered for sale. Furthermore, Jean-David Cahn and his team of archaeologists provide both consignors and buyers with qualified advice.
